The Danter family is one of the leading names in and around the country providing funfair rides & attractions for all events, be it corporate, private, festivals or funfairs. Leigh Danter married Danielle Chipperfield in January 2012 which merged together two major names in the amusement & fairground industry which has created an epic partnership.

We are based in the Gloucestershire area but we travel up and down the country & have even gone international, venturing out to Ireland as well as Hong Kong. As the 4th generation of showman with 5th generation upcoming Leigh & Danielle have some fantastic history in the Industry.

Danielle’s grandfather John Coles travelled the caterpillar ride up & down the country for many years & it can now been seen fully refurbished & in working order at David little boys Dreamland Margate. Her Great-Grandfather Percy Cole traveled the famous Gondola Switchback ride witch has now been fully restored & currently on show at Thursford museum in all its glory Her grandfather Billy Chipperfield’s Helter Skelter is still fully operational today after being rebuilt by her father Henry Chipperfield, who now operates it at all Major events around the country.

Leigh’s families rides, such as his fathers Jets can be now found at Barry island pleasure park under the ownership of his brother Henry Danter.Leigh’s Father Edward Danter has also fully refurbished his late father, Leigh’s grandad Danter’s Matador lorry as if it were brand spanking new! It’s not just what we do, but who we are!
